Smart Caps Education and Training is a company based on helping people reach their own potential by assisting them with classes and valuable skills to help them finish High School and get a Matric.

 

Our focus

 

Our primal objection is focused on assisting people with registering with the Department of Education to write the Senior Certificate Exam (SC), and then to offer classes on most subjects  in order to help them pass Matric.

 

Our Business Location

 

At this stage, we are working at the Orkney library.

 

Class Premises 

 

Our classes at this stage are held at the Orkney Library Hall. Permission was so graciously granted to us by (Snr. Librarian) Mr. T.A. Mooki, and his (Library Assistant) Mrs. E.M Motloung.

Entrepreneurs Profile.

 

Statistics show that more than 60% of our Local community has not completed High school, making it extremely difficult to get a good steady job.

 

The idea is to create an environment where these people can afford to pay for and to attend classes regardless of age, race, or gender.

 

The benefits of education is to reduce poverty and crime, as we believe that if people are inspired to change their circumstances, they won’t be forced to do crime, this giving them the chance to improve their skills and boost their moral.

 

How this benefits us is we have most of the learning recourses and the knowledge of how everything works. We are currently teaching people and at this stage and our stragedy is working. We are charging a set fee for classes irrespective of how many classes a person takes, we then charge for printing of text books and student cards, these also generated funds in order to sustain our project at this stage, as most of our initial funding is out of our own pockets.

 

We Want To Expand!

We are aiming to expand our reach to other provinces and in doing this we will be creating employment for teachers struggling to get jobs and at the same time creating a solution for people wanting to finish Matric.

We are also aiming to get accredited as a training campus and examination centre with HE, FET, and GET.

We want to create basic Diploma courses such as Business management, customer services, computer courses, early childhood development and child day-care, and nursing and First aid, as we see that these are skills that can greatly benefit our community.
